Polaroids by Polamour

I’m so low on polaroid film and I can’t afford to buy more right now. However, I keep being inspired by polaroids online all the time! Some of them are the polaroids from Polamour‘s photostream! What I love is that they are so rich in texture. She is also really great at capturing light! Do you want to go outside an photograph now? I know I do. And I know I want a sx-70. How come I always crave new cameras, but hardly ever use them?

    thanks for the nice words!

i suffer from the same wanting-but-then-not-often-using when it comes to cameras, lenses, etc. i realized recently that it was very uneventful to be sitting on boxes and boxes of polaroid, so carefully avoiding using it up. locking myself into (at least) one shot a day was a good push. not just for creativity and anti-hoarding, but for actually getting out and paying attention to the world every single day. right now i’d normally be hiding from the snow, but polamour inspires (read: forces) me to bundle up and take a walk, and then i realize it’s not so bad after all.

keep your eye open for sx-70s; i picked my chrome one up at the local swap meet in brand new condition for $20. there’s surely one waiting for you somewhere out there. :)

Hmm. Maybe I should do the same! I have so much35 film in my fridge that I’m never using, maybe I should do a 365 too?
