Anyone else guilty of over thinking? Thought so! I actually have a printout of this above my desk as a reminder. Sometimes, when you’re all chaos inside, it’s a nice thing to remember that a) you’re probably over thinking a lot of things and b) over thinking can actually be beautiful and positive too.
On another note, I need to do some digital housekeeping, just to make sure you know about some of the things I’m doing elsewhere! BIG NEWS TO FOLLOW:
•• I’m going to be a regular guest contributor over at The English Muse every Wednesday while Tina is busy with work. I’ll be sharing everything from photos to recipes to travel musings and music/art/inspiration, so make sure you follow! My first posts is going live later today with Instagram photos from my daily life in Oslo. Here is the link to my post!
•• This Friday, I’m guest posting as a part of the Inside Outside series on The Headologist. I’m writing about the process of doing a mental spring cleaning, so make sure you follow The Headologist too. A lot of great minds are contributing to the series and I’m honored to be a part of this. Here is the link to my post!
•• I’m participating in the Your Darling Blog workshop by Jo Klima. This means that The Freedom Experiment is going to get a digital makeover soon! Let me know if there are any features you are missing or if you have any feedback regarding the current design. Thank you!
•• Last, but not least, I’m working on a secret project! Hint, hint: I’m soon going to launch my first digital product so stay tuned!
What dreams are you making come true these days?

Can I just tell you how much I love your blog. It is so inspiring! I love that print, I might need to hang it over my desk too!
Thank you so much <3
Wonderful news! can’t wait to read your posts there :)
Thank you!
So many wonderful things! Many congratulations on all of these great successes, Marthe! Always an inspiration. :)
And so are you, my dear!
Oh, and what dreams am I making come true these days? Teaching yoga in Kosovo! :)
Wow, that sounds exciting! tellmemore!
Overthinking used to completely limit me and somehow I have gradually been able to overcome it – I don’t even know how.
Try to figure it out and give me a shout when you do! ;)
Big wave to my neighbor at English Muse!
Over-thinking. My biggest pitfall in life. I get so serious about something that I keep just thinking and working and desperately try to keep everything running the way I want it to. Not only is it a recipe for disaster but it just makes everything so ridiculously difficult.
I’m working on it though. The past two weeks have been pretty good for relaxing and just taking a step back.
*wave back* Hi! :)
I think over thinking (ouch-)is closely related to both perfection and procrastination. And it creates a lot of high expectations too. Think less and do more?
Girl, I feel like I’m in a constant state of getting my head together. It’s true, overthinking can be a good thing, as long as your surplus of thoughts are good ones! The dreams I’m making come true right now is talking to people and overcoming my shyness. Cheers!
I know!
Ohh, that sounds really scary and exciting too! Good luck! :)
Wow – busy, busy! Just saw your post at English Muse and loved it. Very curious about your upcoming secret project… Always chipping away at the dream – going to take a few more steps this weekend, hopefully without overthinking them!
Always busy;)
Thank you so much darling<3
You’ll know what it is soon!
