Would you like to meet me in New York City?

As you may know, my dream is to live in New York. Permanently. Forever.
New York and I vibrate on the same frequency.
But before I pack up my bags and leave for good (and before I embark on a long and tedious visa-searching journey), I wanted to test the waters. And I don’t want to wait years until my economy, visas and everything else is sorted. I’m restless! I want results – now!
So, here I am in New York City. Working another Freedom Experiment. This time around I’ll be here for 6 weeks, but I suspect there will be many more stays like this one. I have only been here for 5 days, but I’m already guilty of spending hours browsing Craigslist for sublets + governmental sites for visa regulations.
So.
I’ll be here for the next six weeks, and I would love to meet you.
Coffee, art galleries, photo hunts, city wandering, reading books in parks, drinks, picnics, dinner, lunch, blogging from a cool neighbourhood coffeéshop – I’m up for anything! Are you?
If you live in or near NYC and would like to meet me and make this stay even more awesome: e-mail me – Marthe(at)thefreedomexperiment(dot)com – or comment below.
I can’t wait to meet you!
Here is my info:
I’m here now – August 26th, staying in the East Village. I’ll happily give you my US number if you e-mail me first, that might make it easier to schedule a time & place.
See you soon!

Oh how I envy you, as you know! Enjoy, my darling, soak up every second of it! xo
Thank you lovely, I am enjoying it SO SO SO much! Not long until you’ll be here too! ;)
Oh I feel that too! I have never been to NYC (hopefully next year, maybe we can get coffee seeing as you’ll be living there hehe!) I just feel like it’s a place that I would happily be for a very long time.
Good luck with your latest experiment, I look forward to hearing about it!
We should definitely do coffee if we’re both in town!
Thank you so much:)
