The Freedom Experiment

The Freedom Experiment

Everything is possible

On Freedom: The incredible Vastness of Nothing

 by Colleen Parker

The incredible vastness of nothing

Sometimes freedom comes in the tiniest of packages.

A bird taking flight.

A single tear slowly running

all the way down your face.

Two eyes meeting in a brief, agonizing moment.

Sometimes freedom is best appreciated

when it is taken away.

A decision made.

Or made again.

Sometimes freedom isn't about liberation,

but confinement.

Safety.

And the deep, deep trust

only boundaries can build.

Sometimes freedom means letting it all go.

At once.

And perhaps then,

freedom isn't so much about being free

as it is about

being open

to the world's

magnificent

defeats.
